You put me in the same category as Dagan? Sheesh. Anyhow, we'll see on Monday. I believe the compaq announcement will have a negative effect on Nasdaq because other people will see this and start worrying about all of the other PC makers and anyone related to it. I'm expecting weakness in things like ATYT, DELL etc. I suppose you feel that this announcement will have a positive effect on the market?

I didn't say that this is necessarily going to drag down BII. I said this will have a negative effect because Compaq is a very big player and this could in turn affect BII as well. If you've followed BII closely then you'll know that unless there is huge momentum, it does follow what Nasdaq is doing. There is no question that BII has lost some of its momentum. It doesnt have the same frenzied trading that we saw earlier in the week. If there is no Nasdaq announcement, and *IF* nasdaq tanks, it will probably have a negative effect on BII as well. I probably have a lot more vested in BII than you do and I'm the last one to unnecessarily badmouth BII -- but I do look at all factors, not just sit there keeping my fingers crossed and believing that it's going to magically hit US$100 next week. I'm not saying that BII is going to tank on monday. I'm just saying that the CPQ announcement is bad and it may have a negative effect. So it's you who should get real, not me.
