We all know AMD can't compete with Intel, because Intel's deep pocket. This business is about R&D, and it takes money. Reality is one thing, the stock market is another. The street does not like uncertainty. As long as AMD is there in the market and always maintain a policy that its similar products will always be 25% lower than those of Intel, it will keep dragging Intel's profit margin, the bottom line. As to when Intel will bankrupt AMD, nobody knows, and that is one of the big uncertainty for Intel's stock to continue grow.
