Richie, I, too, was curious about the fallout CPQ will have on AOL, so I went to bigcharts.com and selected "Interactive Charting", "Time" = 6 months, "Frequency" = Daily, "Symbol(s)" = CPQ DELL followed by "Draw Chart".
Why Dell? During the last earnings season, Dell-- which I owned at the time, made news by only meeting the street estimates for earnings(revenues were below projections, too); CPQ was making a splash by heralding its Internet presence and a lot of folks looked to CPQ to slow Dell; anyway, Dell seemed to be getting the worst of it at that time, which is why I chose that, since we won't know CPQ's impact until next week.
The chart-- for AOL'ers-- should give some affirmation that AOL is THE stock to own and I am in complete agreement with CG and others who think that some box-maker shareholders will move their money to the Net stocks...I would and did!
Anyway, we shall see on Monday!
