Ada: Kumar is King right now - and I don't want to deny any credit he deserves. But the last time I saw him in an interview about 8 week ago CPQ was in the mid-$40's and he was recommending it as a BUY, but with an aside that it might fall to the "mid-thirties". It is a constantly changing landscape and we are all fallible.

I would be happy if it stopped at $24. Who knows what huge volume and momentum will do in a spike down. But I think $24-26 is an eventual equilibrium point, after it has touched bottom and rebounded.

One possible saving grace for the stock is the 40% haircut it has already had from its high. Another is the possibility of stock buy back under the existing provisions.
