Pistol,

I've seen many such filings where there was absolutely no auditors name mentioned. The auditor does not file the form, the company does. And the company is the one who has to stand behind, and be ready to prove to the SEC, the information filed. Joe Blow could have done the actual auditing and the company would bare the same responsibility of honesty and accuracy.

We have looked into this very aspect and have contemplated taking our firm public. All that is required is that the auditor verify our numbers and recompile them in the form required by the SEC. The actual form they want them in is very different than what is usually used in normal business practices. Bottom line is it does not matter who does the auditing.
