Pyng Technologies Corp. is pleased to announce that the F.A.S.T. 1 System
for Adult Intraosseous Infusion developed by subsidiary Pyng Medical Corp.
has been accepted for inclusion in the internationally renowned textbook
"Basic Trauma Life Support for Advanced EMS Providers". This textbook is
considered by many to be the "Standard of EMS Education" for paramedics.
The textbook of "Basic Trauma Life Support for Advanced EMS Providers"
International (BTLS) is revised every four years to include the most
up-to-date emergency medical products and procedures which enhance the
emergency caregivers skills.
Distributed on an international basis the BTLS is used by instructors and
educators as a basis for EMS training as well as being a vital reference
for the emergency caregiver. The F.A.S.T. 1 System was selected for
inclusion by the president of BTLS, Dr. John E. Campbell, because of the
life saving, time saving features of the F.A.S.T. 1 System and its ability
to provide vascular access in emergency situations when conventional IV
methods fail. This inclusion in BTLS will provide a new level of awareness,
on an international basis, for the F.A.S.T. 1 System and its capabilities.
Pyng Medical Corp. is very honoured to have the F.A.S.T. 1 System for Adult
Intraosseous Infusion be the only adult I/O System to be included in this
edition of "Basic Trauma Life Support for Advanced EMS Providers"
International.
