Lucky !! (great name!)

I'm an amateur at this game of investing and evaluating stocks and as a result have been watching alot of stocks and how they behave, especially the inet ones since they have such volatility. These stocks are very popular with daytraders because of the great point swings each day... lots of profits to be made in that game. Its not surprising to see some profit taking in BII since it has had a big run-up these past few weeks. I'm looking to the long term for this stock and not so concerned about the daily fluctuations that can be effected from a variety of sources like any other stock. I'm focusing on the business plan of this company (which Crazy brings to our attention in a timely manner) and its prospects for the future which depends very much on BII management continuing to build their company. Absolutely they must do their part in order to produce profits which will be a factor down the line. Everything I read points to the fact that the company is doing this and therefore I'm satisfied at this point. Pressure will be put on them to improve and expand and they seem aware of this judging from the interviews they have given. Ecommerce is the coming business to be in as D-man so ably pointed out a few posts back, so regardless of all the discussion and lack of faith on the part of Canadian brokers, etc., I'm in for the long haul and not going to sweat the small stuff right now.

Sermon: I'm always disappointed when I see Canadians doubting their ability to operate on an international level. So many of vision leave and take their dreams elsewhere. Such a loss!! At this point, BII is making a statement, that they can compete on an international basis and I, for one, wish them every success.

The Head Honcho for Worldcom is a guy from Edmonton who went to school in Alabama to play football and ended up starting a company there....fertile ground. I wonder if he could have done that in Canada and the real question is why not ??
