Sorry, I provided five years of historical data. It's just that Burke refused to look at it. Only when you smooth out seasonality does it make any sense to talk about market share. Several posters including Gabriel Dubois and I provided data in that connection. It was nonsense to talk market share in terms of one quarter beck then, and it is still nonsense.

For example: what you don't mention is that the market share loss was 5 times normal.. what you don't see is the amount of inventory that comes back out of the channel, which you won't see until the following couple of quarters. That's why this statement is so meaningless. And that's why you need to do rolling annual market share calculations as Gabriel Dubois did, and as your Michael Burke ignored.
