Jorj,

No. I meant summa Four.

Integrated SS7
Integrated SS7 from Summa Four enables VCO Series switches to provide application controlled SS7 signaling to connect to public networks worldwide. The Integrated SS7 solution supports both ISUP and TCAP to enable call control and transaction based services. It supports standard ANSI and ITU protocols in addition to many country and network variants. Fully integrated with Intelligent Call Services (ICS), the Integrated SS7 software translates SS7 to Ethernet (TCP/IP) protocols, providing a cost-effective method of processing intelligent network information.

The Integrated SS7 software package includes an Ethernet communications software module, service creation logic, service execution environment, and the standards-based SS7 protocol stacks. The dedicated processor incorporates a SPARC CPU for high performance transaction support. SS7 links are connected to an input/output (I/O) card that supports both 56 and 64 kb data rates. The I/O card executes Message Transfer Part (MTP) levels 1 and 2 to improve system throughput. Optional redundancy configurations are supported and used for most high availability applications.

Regards,

Brian
