Here's hoping post #13 "The Tunnel" wasn't a waste of time; if it made someone cluck like a chicken buck buck bucack bwaack buck buck without knowing why then it's got it half right! As you may have guessed, the secret intent for it was to manifest a hypnotic effect around the subliminal ticker manipulations flickering by the repetitons. The old silent surrealist film "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" was the inspiration to try to do the same thing over the internet! If you ever get a chance to see that oldie in a theatre (check the colleges) you'll be amazed to see all the barking dogs and chickens in the lobby afterwards and you might be joining them! I think "The Tunnel" is an Internet First, but did it hypnotize anyone? Now that is the question. Did anyone cluck like a chicken these past couple of days - I know I sure did and I'm the one that wrote it! - "was it good for you too?" There were lots of xmsgix and xcnktx sales before Fridays close, so something was wrong with the placement of the tickers or whatever it was about it that didn't work. But the xgnetx next to pallen in the center seemed to work! So "The Tunnel" needs some refinement, and suggestions as always are appreciated. But its a start.
