john. I continue to enjoy your thoughtful contributions. Re:your fast-forward scenario to April/May guidance from CPQ that 2Q is looking good.

You are probably aware that some commentators have already suggested that the reason for the delay in yesterday's announcement was to allow CPQ to sweeten it with a statement that the first week of April is looking strong. The fact that no such comment was made is ominous. I understand that instead EP said they are cautious about 2Q (which could mean anything).

Before yesterday, the informaton/opinion from several quarters was that the last two weeks of March had been strong, but maybe not strong enough to make up for weakenss early in the 1Q, and that April was looking on track. But all such comments appear to have been thrown into queston by the baffling pre-announcemnt. Any thoughts?
