The land has a moderate $ value in minerals and rich soil but that's defintely not driving the conflict. Nothing is worth starting WWIII over. NATO should swallow a bit of pride and get back to the negotiating table before Russia feels obliged to get involved. Prior to that a ceasefire and withdrawl of troops is necessary. Refugees should be provided entrance to the EU or West until the issue is solved diplomatically.

What do you think Milosevic will accept in terms of a settlement ?
