I agree, a settlement would involve the division of Kosovo into at least two regions; an autonomous Albanian region and of course a Serbian region. A solution must start by finding out what minimal set of terms both sides are willing to agree too. I'm still optimistic that a settlement can be negotiated. It's in the entire world's best interests. As I mentioned this conflict is now causing instability in Russia, as the public feels obliged to help their slavic brothers; we may see a return to the communist party in the next elections unless this conflict ends swiftly.
