i forget who said,
if you don't have a spread,
you don't have a market,
that brought a big HUGH!!!,
from me,
would you have a market,
if buyer and seller agreed on a price,
the same price,
within a certain amount of time,
and the broker,
just received a transaction fee,
wouldn't this be a market,
island puts market orders "behind"
limit orders,
as i understand it,
and this has some advantages and disadvantages,
as you could imagine,
and in general it is a good thing....
i keep dwelling on island,
but it is basically the system,
in action,
and nobody wants to scream at the top of their lungs,
this system is functional now,
doesn't anybody want to say that,
the problem develops when people want to route,
the orders to fricken mars,
just so they can scalp their spread,
