Kemble, Hi! RE: Compaq Warning It is amazing how quickly DELL is taking over this business. I originally thought that the market was so large that Compaq would go its way and DELL would go its way. In fact, the DELL model is going BOTH ways-and fast! Take a look at this quote from Aaron Goldberg's report from Infobeads: "The preliminary results from the Projected Market Monitor survey of US workplaces in the first quarter of 1999 reveal that for the first time ever, Dell has surpassed Compaq in total PC shipments within the workplace segment."
