Now the reason I decided to first tackle ISIP,
Isis Pharmaceuticals, is because if I find out it
is indeed a promising investment, then I will also
post over on the MS usenet groups--and maybe this
Jubak guy will respond etc--get a dialog going etc.
Always looking to get biotech threads going...
But the main reason I wanted to work through ISIP
here, is that I have never got a good signal from the
biotech enthusiasts here on SI on ISIP--once I did get
a no vote, but it wasn't backed up. The symbol pops up
now and then, but no good discussion on the general
biotech threads--like I said, still have to read the
Isis thread though.
Then later I will tackle the PR, abstracts etc, with
any luck by that time I'll have some help. The last step
in the process is to read some stuff out of my molecular
cell biology book--I just do that to get a feel for the
magnitude of what a company is doing--how far along they
are. It is not hard to guess, although I admit I've no
idea whether or not I can yet pick good stocks--I probably
can find weed out many stinkers, but finding ten baggers
is work.
