Hi Zeev, I am amazed at how fluidly and skillfully you slipped in a comparison of Valence with a failed company!

I remember how much time you spent many months ago evaluating Valence patents. You counted 170 or so at the time and concluded that they were not a threat to Valence shareholders. We then pointed you to a source where many more could be found, and I believe the count is now over 400 in various stages. I believe you did eventually concede that a large patent portfolio is better than nothing.

Didn't we conclude that Valence has roughly 5 times the number of patents as their typical competitor?

Doesn't IBM hold over 7000 patents? Doesn't a large relevant patent portfolio help a manufacturer such as IBM to dominate an industry?

Is it fair to compare Valence with IBM on the basis that both companies have gone to considerable time and expense to protect their discoveries and solutions to problems etc? Why would a company like Valence register all those patents? Why did IBM do it? Would IBM have been as successful without patents?

My own interpretation is that Valence registered all the patents to make it tough on their competition, as though they are making preparations to dominate the industry.

Your implicit comparison:
"(Yes, IPMCF went much lower than $1, it went into oblivion)"

Did you check to determine if IPMCF had hundreds of patents, as do Valence and IBM? Maybe its time for you to acquire some shares in the next IBM of the small battery industry!

Here's a link to my recent comments on some Valence patents:
