I remember Morton's getting ground-up last October as all the PMs figured nobody on Wall Street could pick-up the checks any longer. I think Merrill even had some policy that any expense over $200 had to be preapproved by a managing director, or something to that effect. I was thinking of buying it, but didn't. They opened one in Stamford, CT about a year ago and I've heard it's not very good. However, the ones I've gone to were very good--but they seem to be about 90% expense acct driven.
