I won't claim I knew him very well other than under his leadership since I have been at Tandem (now Compaq), the company was turning around. May be the credit goes to Pesatori and the team under Roel. I saw Roel once in Omaha and he was impressive. Maybe he's just a figure head, but he made noticable, positive progress that changed Compaq that deserves some credit.
I don't clearly know what Pesatori's current role, but I don't think his skills are being utilized by the our current management.
As a major shareholder (25K+) in this company, I'm taking a beating on this stock and I'm not too pleased w/ my company's (unacceptable) performance. If my performance as an employee was this dismal each quarter, I would not be keeping this job.
I feel sorry for other shareholders and if I'm allowed to apologize on behalf of this company, I would. All I can say is be more patient, dollar cost average if you're a long-term investor in this company. If you're in it for short-term, play options.
Just pray by keeping hands in your pocket on Monday!!
