I was under the impression that when Leaps are exercised (or sold, for that matter) and if there is a profit involved, (compared to the cost basis), this is a taxable event in a non-retirement account. I am hoping to be educated on this matter. I just realized that I am posing this question to the most appropriate person .(ggg)
