Bill, I had Pat Day. Of course, I bet for my Mother, too, and she wouldn't have an Exacta without Pat. I'm happy, because I had him second in my exacta wheel and she forced me to include him with Wundertross in the first place. <g> I liked the horse, though. I figured Day wouldn't have switched off Cat Thief without reason. Just missed that Tri. I had Cat Thief in third only. At Arkansas all of my tickets went up in smoke. Great race, though. And, since I hit the trifecta at the Wood, I feel pretty good about the whole deal. Picking the California horse made the difference. I had Badge for third, too, but that wouldn't have paid much.
Had a good night of trifectas at Sam Houston, too. I don't know what it is. I get real hot for awhile and then I go into a blue funk where I can't buy a show ticket on every other horse in a race and cash a ticket. <g> |
