I wouldn't put too much credence in this line of argument, Sal. Lucent, for one, will be marketing modems that are to be software upgradable, too, I believe.

Besides, that is a very weak line of argumentation to take to a standards body, that your customers would be disadvantaged by the
adoption of a competing standard. There would have to be a tremendous disparity between the number of Rockwell customers and the numbers of USR customers for that to make any sense at all.
