Elepet, I feel for you and your position of 44, but IMO, I wouldn't sell into the open. CPQ closed at $26, in after hours trading, and probably will gap down to about 22 or 23 on Monday. No one knows where it will settle out at, but If you have the patience, and nerve, to ride this out, you may very well see your $44 by year end or upper 30's at least. CPQ is in the middle of a major shift, trying to change their sales model, as well as transforming the company from a box maker to a provider of services, software, enterprise solutions, E-commerce, etc. The going is rough, but the end result, IMO, will be exciting. Dell sees this need to shift gears as well, but they are just starting the process, and while their business model is superior, for now, they will encounter growing pains as well. This is just the tech sector, change is constant, price swings will occur, I believe it was J.P. Morgan who stated, quite simply, that ( The market will fluctuate )
Take care, and good luck
