Sector...now you sound like the spinning I have in my head from this. If you accept the fact that the notes were sold to professionals only, as the rule for selling unregistered bonds states, then you have to accept the fact that even though someone pulled the wool over their eyes when they bought the notes, they would have had to be happy covering the shorts(if that was their hedge position) at a very substantial profit. Remember, they could have protected themselves with options instead of shorting stock. I don't want to sound too callous or skeptical here, but it is also possible inside engineers or salespeople who might have seen this debacle coming might be the shorters if they feel the company can't pull out of this horror show.
Do you notice that with all the takeover talk in the industry, no one is even mentioning MRVC. Maybe others in the business saw MRVC as a company falling behind and they are part of this short picture. Institutional ownership has been receding heavily since last August.

I must be painting a pretty bleak picture of what is happening. I am the one who made the big mistake by having faith in what Noam & co. did with the company for 34 quarters, I still can't believe that was just a freak situation. I am going to continue to support the company, especially since it is starting to look like they are getting their act together.( you hear that GOD, we need help).
