No! I think the pop was recognition of the potential momentum that could be gained by the synergy of these companies as Ameritrade gave Nortel 1 billion dollar contract and BCE gave emergis a major control that will include the other subsiduaries such as Nortel. Not only will emergis get over 1 billion in cash but it will have huge contracts just from its related companies. This will translate into huge revenues and will cause the stock price to keep moving and splitting like NTL and CGI have already done.
