Yeah, the tech sector will crash at Monday's opening before making a half-hearted recovery. CPQ, a pathetic disappointment. Both weak demand and shrinking margins for now and the forseeable future bodes poorly. The big growth train supporting those lofty P/E's is not justifiable.

But do you really think that's going to bring down the rest of the Net sector hard? My twisted mind is hoping so, because then I would plough in more $ to Nets, which have been going only up lately. But I was thinking that we may see something quite extraordinary - that Net stocks will not be dragged down very much by this. All the Tech funds and tech investors are going to move a larger portion of their money to a related growth area - Net stocks.

People are starting to see that Box-assembly (CPQ) companies, although part of the glamorous high-tech industry, have much less of a bright future than the Net services sector.
