Chuz, you are wasting your time with the likes of
Skeeter. Voodoo math can be manipultaed to twist facts
and distort reality... we engineers deal with this
kind of nonsense daily.

Inoring YOY and seasonality is foolish and a blatant attempt
to disguise the bigger picture.... which is worth a thousand
words. To bad we cant post graphs on SI. One only needs to
graph quarterly shipments by both CPQ and DELL. Its easy to
see that CPQ oscillates wildly while Dell's is quite linear.
And... yes the CPQ trajectory usually lurches upward away from
Dell every Q4 only to come crashing down in Q1. Whats most
interesting about a simple chart like this is the longer term
trend that clearly shows Dell closing the gap at a rapid clip.
Using a 4 quarter moving average easily shows it's only
a matter of time.

Skeeter is likely unaware of the fact that the high growth
low profit segment of sub 1k's and the DEC acquisition
is responsible for the Q4 divergence in the numbers. This
is in no way an indication that CPQ is somehow executing better,
STEALING market share from DELL, or becoming a preferred supplier.
