Razor: Even IBM started with a first step. They were small once, but they made innovations and patented them. Fred's comparisons may seem to be a stretch, but certainly less so than specious comparisons of this thread with those of failed companies. Many threads which deal with perfectly successful companies have cheerleaders as part of the overall mix. This company, Valence Technology, is a compelling story of overcoming technological and other hurdles, and naturally inspires strong opinion, pro and con. When these differences result in honest discussion and disagreement, it has been often the case that the membership benefits, whomever. However, this does not readily result from snide references and canned speeches from spinmeisters catering to short interests. The excuse that this disingenuous behavior is somehow provoked by FMK or others does not hold water.
