RE: ORB

>>They have priced them below cost <<

Please give any specific evidence of this. You DO have evidence, don't you? Anything at all? Remember, Syed Iftikar has stated numerous times that utilizing MR tech has enabled Castlewood to greatly reduce the cost of manufacturing drives.

>>SyQuest Pursues Lawsuit Against Castlewood Systems, Inc. ..."I don't think that the folks up in Roy Ut. are worried too much in as much as they have the rights to the ORB Technology "<<

Obviously, this lawsuit was without merit, as an injunction against ORB was never granted by the courts. Syquest said in your link that they were trying to "...seek and obtain a preliminary injunction preventing Castlewood from using SyQuest's proprietary trade secrets and shipping products incorporating SyQuest intellectual property."

So, Syquest was pursuing an injunction against ORB ever seeing the light of day. However, ORB drives are on the shelves and available for purchase. Syquest and Iomega have been totally silent about this fact. No injunction. No lawsuit. Silence. Evidently, the Syquest/Iomega injunction against Castlewood was rightfully laughed out of court, along with the case.

Iomega loses ANOTHER court case.
