CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 1 (Reuters) - Alydaar Software Corp. on Thursday said Chief Financial Officer V. Hollis Scott has resigned after some accounting overstatements came to light. As of December 31, the company overstated its financial results by about $2 million due largely to an error made in the consolidation of its accounts with its British wholly-owned unit Alydaar International Ltd. As a result, Alydaar will restate its fourth quarter results to reflect the adjustment, it said in a prepared statement. Meanwhile, it also corrected its 1998 results that it reported on March 17. Net earnings per share fell to $0.08 from $0.19. The company is currently conducting a "top to bottom review" of its financial reporting system, it said. It also lowered its previous first quarter revenue guidance to $5 million from $7 million. I guess we can't all pick them like Janass, eh??? lol Dave
