Twick,

I think there are many that are worried about CPQ and their earnings warnings. However, many analysts have said that after the initial sell orders on Monday morning, the tech sector will sort itself out and money will flow into companies that will most likely beat their #'s. Even Jim Cramer said on his site that the sector he'll buy first is the net, because it's one of few sectors that won't blow up.

Like it or not, the new paradigm is already here. CPQ, Oracle, 3Com, PSFT, NETA, are now has beens until they can show revenue & earnings growth. Old tech is out, new tech is in for now.

I think the online brokers will be very strong next week with AMTD & SCH reporting. A couple of other blue-chip net stocks are due for earnings in the next wk. Overall, I think despite some minor dumps, you will see certain stocks (nets most likely) explode right before earnings.
