Re. What is known is that Rezulin does have monitoring imposed. All drugs receiving NDA approval undergo post-market monitoring (Phase IV). It surprised me that this wasn't part of your knowledge base. You can find a lot of fundamental information about the entire drug development process from FDA's website.
