I guess the idea I had at least pointed us in the right direction. I did something on my mac that lets me get into the site - fully. Perhaps a pc literate type out there can describe the equivalent approach from the "dark side".

What I did was add a "Hosts" file in my preferences folder that specified the ip address to use for www.dorseywright.com. This way, I don't need an external name server to get it right. This is simply a text file with the following line:

www.dorseywright.com A 204.232.40.6

Then, you open the TCP control panel and select the Hosts file.

Later when the name server problem gets resolved, I'll just delete this
entry so real name servers can do this for me. (That is useful in case
Tom/Jay move their server to a different machine, for example.)

regards,
dana
