My only comment is "do not catch a falling knife"

Any of the 4 horsemen (INTC, MSFT, CSCO, DELL), if dragged down temporarily and drastically by CPQ, would be a BUY. But I doubt CSCO or even MSFT would be affected much--not from viewing Friday's Instinet actions.

Cpq's problems--much of them company specific--are deep ingrained. Unless the senior managment changes hands, I doubt much progress can be made.
