I saw @home's product last night at a friends house for the first time. Very impressive compared to what I have, AOL. My observations FWIW: -Product is much better. -Price is more than double AOL at $40 monthly service plus $10 equipment fee olus installation fee of $100+. -@home will have to cut prices to attract more users. -Most people loathe the cable companies and like me are reluctant to give them another dime (I switched to satellite tv just to avoid the cable company) making it that much harder to attract new users. -what impact will cable dereg have on this product. The people involved in cable are snakes and will eventually screw consumers. For now I stick with AOL until @home picture gets clearer. JMHO.
