Imran:

Wi-LAN truly has some hot products and it is great that the CEO posts on this board. My hunch (confirmed by recent anti-take over stock provisions if an offer does not benefit the shareholders) is that they are in major talks for either a merger, take-over or strategic alliance. Next years revenues should be >$50 million dollars. This should put their stock at $5-10 easily.

WaveRider Communications is on the OTC: bulletin board. They have a profile on YAHOO! that should link you to their web site. They are a little behind Wi-LAN, but yesterday signed a $2.5 million dollar contract to put their wireless products in Jamaica. Their CEO is Bruce Sinclair, ex-CEO of Dell Canada and Dell Europe. He has surrounded himself with big league talent to market and design their products. Revenues for this year should be $10 million. Next year revenues should also be around $50 million. A NASDAQ listing for this stock will take it to $10.

Presently, I have positions in both. I think it would be great for them to merge as Wi-Lan has positioned itself to sell to Telcos and WaveRider Communications has over 200 Internet Service Providers and Telcos interested in marketing their products.

Happy investing,
