It's very hard to believe your allegations about Barrick - why don't you email or fax them to Vince Borg at Barrick and ask for the company's official response? That Barrick would waive a due diligence clause flies in the face of believability. It's always possible that you're right, but you have made some serious allegations here about a large public company and I think you should run with the ball and get the company's response - or else someone will draw these matters to Barrick's attention and you may find yourself held accountable, if not for slander, then something very close to it. dd
