Harry,
I usually don't post much cause I don't feel that I have much to contribute. I have been doing quite well with the nets in the past couple of months though, so I'll give you my 2 cents in hopes that it will help to get Clint back here.
VERT is involved in business-to-business net transactions that are supposedly a major potential revenue source on the web. Judy likes it, and that's good enough for me.
WCAP is a CMGI look-alike that holds net IPOs, but a shorter on the WCAP thread points out that it is a 3-person concern with potential SEC problems and that the WSJ has a damging article about them last week.
Check out the final frontier thread for functional groupings of nets -- additions are made almost daily.
Some hot areas: e-banking - NTBK, TBFC, SONE isp/DSL - COVD, VRIO, CMCX? e-trade - EGRP, AMTD, NDB, SWS, NITE
holding: INKT, EXDS (thanks Clint), COVD, VRIO, MMPT, TUTS, XMCM, VERT
the marketgems thread has been very good at identifying good nets. |
