The real key to EGRP's future riches will be whether they can extend their services beyond trading, and their revenue stream beyond trading fees and margin interest. Most of the fee-happy brick-and-mortar big banks and brokerage firms don't "get it," and are two to three years behind in development. If E*trade can continue to capture their customers, and then cross-sell them CDs, loans, etc., what we'll have is an even larger paradigm shift than we are seeing.
