Hey Art: I am a subscriber to PCS, live in a northern suburb but work in Manhattan. The coverage in Manhattan and points half-way north to where we live is good. North and east, very spotty coverage, with part of the difficulty of increasing coverage of the supposed footprint being local resistance to towers. We purchased Q's dual mode handsets, which work well. Obviously, the analog roaming is more expensive. And it is true that in the Sprint PCS stores that employees, even those on the ball, are unable to advise exactly that status of the buildout to non-covered areas. With the exception of the spotty coverage in my residential area, I'm happy with the service, and the pricing during promotions can't be beat. Puts BAM to shame. Voicemail is reliable, but a bit slow in arriving. Regards. Liacos_samui
