Goolie, sorry don't have the competition info but just to add to what you said when you talked about the brokers like EGRP and AMTD. Internet Banks are going to have a much higher retention rate than brokerages which means that the first players will have an even more solid advantage. The reason I say that is that net banking is not transaction intensive like online trading. You don't lose money if you can't get on the system in 2 minutes. Once you set up an account it takes a lot of work to switch unless the service or website is lousy. I know some of us have complained about the customer service of NTBK, and I think they still need to address this much better. But the point is it's not enough to make you leave because overall NTBK saves you time (bill pay) and makes you more money (interest rate). Yes NTBK has a brokerage division but it's not their main focus as a company. You can also look at it this way..think how many times you have changed brokerages in the last 5 years. Then make the same comparison to the banks you've changed (not due to moving, doesn't count). I would say most have changed brokerages much more frequently. Ron
