Well that is fine if Winspear was sitting on multiple pipe emplacements, showing sufficient tonnage to warrant skipping what is normally required with reporting Juniors, that being timely delivery of material news.
At the time of the mini bulk sample from A-154...Aber was not sitting on multiple pipes whatsoever. A418 was not discovered until spring of 1995. At the time, Aber was very much a junior.
You can twist the events as you wish, but the fact remains, economic pipes dont show large stones early, most large stones reveal themselves after substantial tonnage has been extracted. I am rather surprised that they found the visible diamond in the core, however the world class grades show the economics of the deposit.
Huh?
The issue is not the Aber diamond...but the fact that Winspear released a partial breakdown of the larger stones it recovered. Aber did no such thing in it's mini bulk sample. That's not "twisting" that's a pure and simple fact.
I don't have a problem with what Aber reported...but I do have a problem with someone claiming that Winspear reported less information than other companies.
How about Mountain Province? They are at the same level as Aber was back in early '95. Yet...look at the information they gave out on the earlier mini bulk samples on their four pipes.
Good grief!
I find it surprising as well that one which claims so much talent is trying to compare reporting news between companies.
Are you referring to me? I made no such claims.
As for comparing reporting news between companies…you started it. As soon as you say…company "W" does not report enough information…you are obviously comparing it to some other standard. In any case…why not? What is wrong with comparing the release of information? Hmmm?
Winspear delivered a 200 ton (mini-bulk sample) restrictive and contained with a small area from a dyke where proven tonnage is yet being drilled and not backed by a feasibility study.
Excuse me? Is Aber backed by a feasibility study yet? They weren't even at pre-feasibility in 1995.
What more needs to be said.
Accurate facts would be nice.
They promoted the stock on the 301US per carat values, they purposefully withheld the complete valuation breakdowns as a carrot in front of investors, then when scrutinized more closely by the Canadian Diamond analysts expeditiously reported the valuation breakdowns by necessity not by the goodness of their dear hearts.
What are Canadian Diamond analysts? I assume you mean John Kaiser, here. He was the individual that solely revealed the value contained in the top three gems, was he not?
Here's one for you. What percentage of value is contained in the top three diamonds from Aber's mini bulk samples? What percentage is contained in the top valued 150 stones from the bulk samples of Aber. Why 150? Because that's the same general proportion of stones.
No the news didnt blind side me, I bought the stock based on the fundamnetals at much lower prices, evidenced by your timely posting of #6109.
Timely posting? That #6109 was posted on the weekend. Winspear was halted at the open on Monday morning for release of the valuations. That's not timely.
Do you recall your prediction made months earlier on Winspear's grade and value? I do.
I am not on the defense here pal, I am not the one daily musing about Winspears potential. nor am I advising investors to buy stock which has been fully valued, I leave that to the people that failed to justify their investment, and deem it essential to buy at higher prices, and to daily remind themselves and others of the merits of their decisions.
Well, you should be.
I'm not advising investors to buy Winspear..or any stock for that matter. I'll leave that domain to you. Frankly…until further results are released…Winspear is fully valued.
For what it is worth, Aber did release incremental grades during their bulk samples. Lets see if Winspear does as well.
Yes they certainly did. They did seem to tire of the process with the A418 results, however. At no point did Aber provide a larger stone breakdown, other than to state what the largest found was. At no time did they state what value was contained in a small number of stones, either.
