Chuzzlewit,
I know DELL is a BOX SELLER, and assembler with DELL name slapped on these boxes, just as Sears, who gets appliances and slaps the SEARS brand on it. I would never pay two times revenue for a company that assembles and sells goods. DELL is worth 36 billion today. That is 16-18 dollars a share. Eventually that is how it will be valued based on operating margins of 2-4%. Operating margins will shrink fast. LAst few years they took advantage of falling memory prices and steady PC prices, They have to compete hard and pass on all the drop in chip prices to consumers, otherwise someone else will do it. This industry will be like TV and audio video industry, with minimal operating margins.
