Here is the segment on FATB from TSC by: nozers 2943 of 2943 <<Gary, At what point can you spot a true breakout to the upside vs. simple volatility such as "breaking news"? Computer Literacy changed its name last week to Fatbrain.com(FATB:Nasdaq). The shares, trading at 16, took off to an all-time high of 31 on huge volume! The problem for long-term investors is that it settled back down to around 20 in a matter of days. What would be a theory on making trading gains at an opportunistic moment for someone who is interested in being a long-term holder? I am frozen by the prospect of selling at, say, 28, and watching the stock run and consolidate at 35.
