Gary, You have a lot of nerve posting information believed to be reliable here. <g> I agree with your arguments though I think the high end is dying along with the mid-range pc. A $1500-2500 box is going to be a tough sale to corporations with profits declining and fully functional $300-700 boxes available. This trend is even killing server and workstation prices. Dell the stock is infinitely more vulnerable than Dell the co. The co. is the strongest player in the catalogue niche. The stock is the most overpriced player in the pc universe.
