If one pays attention to the nature of the posts on this thread, one will realize that there are some posts that have been consistently correct or at least 90% correct. In fact, of the threads I have seen this one is actually one of the most informative and predictive. Furthermore, since this play has a number of unique elements of the type that make a penny stock success, it continues to keep a few people's interest despite the stock price. When I first heard of this, it was an analyst in Canada who seemed very smart about oil and gas juniors and he liked this one and Abacan. I looked at both and thought Abacan had the goods in the ground but since it was in the offshore waters of an extremely unstable African country, I decided to pass and focus on this one. In the end, I believe that will prove a wise decision. I believe you must be correct regarding the land acquisition, but I also believe that Ken Sinclair has good enough relationships with all the majors as do the other members of the geologic team, that it has become unlikely that their friends will swoop down and snap up the land positions. In addition the land team Epic has has developed good relationships with the people with whom the land needs to be tied up. Thus the risk is minimized. Anyone who reads the AEC web page realizes that methane storage is one of their top priorities. Thus if the seismic shows good potential for that function, it is likely AEC will stay in. Furthermore, if it shows excellent potential for gas production, either conventional, coal bed or both, it does not take a rocket scientist to think AEC or someone else will step up to the plate and want to participate in developing it. It should be a very good year.
