Jim, It is important to distinguish between earnings and earnings growth. In spite of slow earnings growth, Intel makes lots of money off their CPU business. The high costs of PII/PIII CPUs come directly out of the OEM's pockets. I expect to see a move towards low cost CPUs in the business computer sector this year (i.e. Celeron and AMD.) Scumbria
