Scumbria, how does AMD ever get out of their predicament? they can't produce CPU's as cheaply as Intel so if they drive the ASP down(seems to be AMD's goal), how do they ever do anything but put themselves in greater debt. Sure Intel makes less profit but AMD makes more debt. I just don't see how it's ever going to get better for AMD. Seems it has done nothing more than transfer a substantial amount of the profits to the boxmaker, that isn't even high tech compared to Intel & AMD. I think Intel should get into the boxmaking part of the business. jim
