"First" you do not want to short SBET now that they have released new news. The SBET news wire actually was released at 12 noon yesterday and not posted to the business wire until late in the afternoon. The news more then likely will raise SBET about $.50 to $.75 cents in the a.m. maybe even a buck.

Short selling is selling something that you do not own. Most times you use what they call a marginable security unless you put up 100% of the cash value to cover the short. Stocks like SBET AND GLOW MOST brokergae firms do not consider them to be marginable. Thus, in order to short them you need cash. So to make my example simple I will use IBM. 1.) Let's say IBM is selling for $146.50 per share and I think the stock is going to drop to $120.00 per share. I could call my broker and tell her that I want to sell 500 shares of IBM short at $146.50. My account will see a $70,000 short share market value and a cash credit for $70,000 on settlement date. 2.) Now let's say the stock goes to $120.00. and I think it will go no lower. I call my broker and ask her to cover my IBM 500 short at $120.00. She buys the 500 shares giving me a $60,000.00 cash debit and flattens my short position with a long.

My Account
short shares long shares credit money debit money
1.) 500 70,000.00
2.) 500 60,000.00

Share balance flat Profit $10,000.00

Thus short selling is
---------------------
When you know a stock has good upside potential always buy. When you know a stock has reached it's all time high and you think it may tank, due to any valid business reason you know of. you sell the stock short by borrowing it from your broker and then buy the stock back at a lower price at a lator date. You keep the net profit after commisions. However, if the stock does not drop but goes up. You must buy the stock back at the higher price (risk).

I (IMO) Glow price went up today because people get confused when they see Global Gaming Corp. (Grenada) and SBET. This company has nothing to do with (GLOW) Global Games Corp. Besides a "ng" there is a world of diffrence between these to companies. One is where they want to be (SBET) and the other just talks and dreams about getting there!
