I see zero benefit..arent we doing fine now..what is this craze about More more more..we have got to be the greediest people on the face of the earth..sometimes Im disgusted by the greed...
Greed has nothing to do with 24 hour trading, as it stands now, actually, I see this type of trading as a defense against the abuses of the ones "in the industry", the smart investor will become more knowledgeable, and the fittest will eat up the idiot and weak.
It will become a real free market.
Greed has existed since day one, it is part of human nature, the key, as it is always is, it is to measure and indeed invest in the companies that have real value.
There are smart people all over the world, and criminals just the same, the access to "principal-to-principal" is what makes the big difference.
Criminals, scamsters and the like soon will be found, and dealt with. Real companies and knowledgeable investors will prevail, smart people not only will survive, they will succeed tremendously, due to that simple fact... direct access from principal-to-principal.
How many ,millions al;l over the world are dying and suffering and being removed from all they ever knew...and cant even get a bite to eat..yet all we care about is another quarter or eight or a gap up or down..It makes me sick..I would like to see all those who are prospering so much give something to those who have lost everything..especially the kids...
Well... sorry but that sounds like ranting to me, and a tad off topic.
If you feel so compelled, then no one is stopping you from giving away your cake to the Mother Theresas of the world, I am sure they have already figured out a way to spend it... And still, it won't change one iota about the hunger, and the dying, and the rest of the human tragedies.
Such tragedies have different origins than 24 hours a day trading.
I am puzzled and amazed at all the "bleeding hearts" that ponder about what a beautiful world would it be if all the rich people would donate this that and the other....yet the same do not do anything about the problem.
Even if all the wealth in the world were to be "redistributed to the less fortunate"... it will NOT solve the problem, and worse, within a few years (if not days), the rich would be rich again, and the poor would become miserable.... again.
All that has different origins... I thought Communism had already proven that...
Now, I could get into the religion side of things, in reference to the rampant population growth, particularly in the third world countries...
But believe me, you do not want me to go there... I really get pissed off.... and that is putting it mildly.
As for....
Count me out of 24 hour trading...

So that is it for now.... Must go and tend to the mules.... who knows, Coffee may be trading up in Nepal, and must make those mules work extra hard.... we don't want the peasants to be working over time do we ? |
